Jacobs, William John (Bill). Passed away peacefully at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday January 29th, 2018. William had a great love of coaching as well as playing softball, and playing a very active role in the community. He also loved to play his guitar and harmonica for all who would listen.

William Jacobs of Winterton age 81 predeceased by wife Catherine (Kay). Brother Edward, Clarence, and Sister Violet. Leaving to mourn daughters Cathy (Harold), Brenda (Dean), and Jackie (Steve). Sons Jeff (Mary), and Chris (Tania). Grandchildren Matthew (Ashley), Kelsey, Kisha, Carly, Holly, Christian, Colby, Daniel, Jacob and Great Grandson Brody.

A huge thank you to his health care team, all the doctors and nurses at Carbonear General Hospital, and especially the girls at the Winter Holm Manor.

Resting at Greens Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4pm & 7-9pm and Thursday 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place at Trinity United Church in Winterton on Friday February 2nd  at 2pm. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
