Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on June 26, 2026, Virena Ellis of Hants Harbour, age 92 years.

Predeceased by husband: Harold; brothers: Warren, Arthur, Lewis, Howard, Lester, Lindo, Whitney, and Cyril; sisters: Mildred, Myra, Myrtle, and Pearl.

Leaving to mourn, daughter: Bonnie (Eric); sons: Martin (Nancy) and Jeff (Debbie); grandchildren: Amy, Lisa, Jared, Jennifer, Mark, Amanda, Lorenzo, and James; great-grandchildren: Cash and Max; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton on Monday, June 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Salvation Army Lower Trinity Corps, Winterton.

Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant's Harbour.
