Smith, Vera; Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday Feb. 8, 2017, Vera Smith of Victoria (formerly New Perlican) age 86 years. Leaving to mourn two sons Randy Smith (Brenda), Rex Smith (Angela) two daughters Trudy Butt, Arlene Clarke (Bruce). Eight grandchildren Kimberley Quecke (Glen), Curtis Smith (Jill), Vera Butt, Michael Butt, Jeremy Smith (Patricia) Sherry-lee Burrage (Sammy), Kelly Clarke, Brandon Clarke, step grandchildren Jodi Hann and Jamie Hann. Six great grandchildren Emily Quecke, Oliver Quecke, Jonathon Smith, Eva Smith, Savannah Barrett Faith Barrett and Briella Hann. Sister Evelynn Currie, two sisters in law Jessie Hobbs and Alice Young. Special friend Sandra Murphy. Predeceased by husband Harry Smith, parents Heber and Gertrude Hobbs mother and father in law James and Amelia Smith, brothers Samuel, William, Eldred, Edward and Walter Hobbs, sisters Elizabeth Birny, Dorothy Mantle and Annie Cotter, daughter in law Olive Smith, son in law Max Butt. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton.
