Obituary

Susanna Grace Peet (Bellows) October 15, 1943-March 9, 2020

Peacefully in the arms of her devoted daughter, Cindy and beloved grandson, Drake. Now resting in peace and comfort in the arms of her loving husband, Bill. Leaving us with broken hearts but fond memories, daughters Corinne Ladouceur (Michael) Ottawa and Cindy Tremblay (Stephane) Winterton and son Ian Peet (Roxanne) Toronto. Her cherished grandchildren Morgan, Courtney and Drake. She loved her grandchildren dearly and was devoted to their every need. She was like a child at heart herself, of a sweet and innocent nature. She loved to joke around and act foolish, making us all laugh or even a bit embarrassed if in public. She was the side kick to dad and his joking but would often, out of nowhere, crack a few jokes of her own. Everyone she met loved her and never a harsh word was spoken. She grew up in St. John's but her life also took her to Steady Brook NL, Sackville NS, Mt Pearl NL, Paradise NL and then to her final home in Winterton NL.She was predeceased by her husband Bill just three years ago: parents Earl and Florence Bellows, baby sister Jeanie and brother, John Bellows and his wife Loretta. Leaves behind her siblings Dolly Hall (Dave), Rose Hood, Robert Bellows (Debbie) and Debbie Winsor (Wayne). Numerous nieces and nephews and extended families. Many thanks to the staff/caregivers/nurses at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear, Lions Manor, Placentia and most of all Winterholme Manor, Winterton.Cremation has taken place and her funeral will be at a later date in the spring, with more details to follow. Her and her husband will then be buried in Winterton NL.

Always loved…Never forgotten…Forever missed
