Passed suddenly away at her residence, Hant's Harbour on Friday, April 24, 2026, Rita Frances Green of Hant's Harbour, age 78 years.

Predeceased by son: Gary; parents: Stanley and Ethel Rogers; parents-in-law: James and Ethel Green; brother: Sam Callahan; sister: Rebecca (Wally) Spurrell.

Leaving to mourn, loving husband of 57 years: Edward; daughters: Nancy (Shawn) Powers and Linda (Darrel) Nay; son: Barry (Kelly);  grandchildren: Gary (Cassie), Katelyn (Roger), Alyssa (Curtis), Darien (Emily), Tyson (Emily), and Sophia; great-grandchildren: Ireland, Jayden, Olivia, and Colter; brother: Robert 'Bob' (Dorothy-deceased) Rogers; sister: Joan (Newton) Ash; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation at Green's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Winterton on Monday, April 27 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Green's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Winterton.

Cremation has taken place.

Interment at Hant's Harbour United Cemetery on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
