Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Dr. A.A Wilkinson Hospital, Old Perlican on Saturday, December 7, 2024, Phyllis Smith of Hant's Harbour, age 98 years.

Predeceased by husband: Phillip, parents: George and Ellen Flight; sisters: Mary (Herb) Thoms, Margaret (Tom) Flight, Florence (George) Parsons, Lizzie (Herb) Delaney, Goldie (Robert) Dubelt, and Gertrude.

Leaving to mourn, daughters: Goldie (Bruce) Ash and Connie (Charles) Seward; son: Philip (Muriel); grandchildren: Sandra (Steve), Shelley (Toby), Philip (Pam), Edward (Erica), Amelia (Jeremiah), Benjamin, Adam (Chelsea), Brian (Nicole), Karen, Todd, Alexander (Elisha); 9 great-grandchildren; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

While our earthly hearts are sad by the separation, our heavenly souls are rejoicing in the reunion of a much-loved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend.

Visitation to take place at Green's Funeral Home, Main Road, Winterton on Tuesday, December 10 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Dr. A.A Wilkinson Health Care Auxiliary, P.O Box 70, Old Perlican, A0A 3G0.
