It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Phyllis Hill. She died peacefully at the Lion's Manor Nursing Home in Placentia, in her 100th year, with family by her side on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
Beloved wife for 52 years of Gene Hill (deceased). Loved and cherished mother of Gene (Monica), Petawawa and Phyllis (Charles, deceased) of Dildo. Loving grandmother to Kimberly, Melissa, Deanna, Charlie, Annette, Robin, Candace and David.  Great grandchildren , Scottie, Coady, Jesse, Michael, Zachary, Brianna, Liam, Meara, Sara, Samantha, Sabrina and one great great grandchild, Callie.
Phyllis was born on the 16th of May in 1920, in New Perlican. She loved her church and was in the choir at one time. She joined the ACW when she was 12 years old and always helped out with any socials. She was president of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary for many years and she joined the Legion when the auxiliary closed. She was not a member but she helped out with the SUF Auxiliary. Phyllis was fun loving and always ready to give a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved Bingo and card games.
She married her husband Gene in 1942 and was happily married until 1994 when Gene passed away. She is predeceased by her son, Albert, Totonto, her parents Flora and Alfred Mills, and her sister Francis Seward. She will be missed by her many friends and relatives.
The funeral will be held on May 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm in St Mary's Church, Hearts Content.
In lieu of flowers, donations to "Heritage Fund New Perlican" would be appreciated.
