Passed peacefully away at The Harbour Lodge, Carbonear on Sunday, September 5, 2010. Phillip Smith of Hant's Harbour, Aged 87 years. Leaving to mourn Wife Phyllis, Children; Phillie (Muriel) Smith, Goldie (Bruce) Ash, Connie (Charlie) Seward, Eleven Grandchildren, Two Great-Grandchildren, Sister; Effie Janes, and Brother Carl (Joyce) Smith. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours on Tuesday,September 7th,2010 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm, and Wednesday, September 8th, 2010 from 10:00-12:00noon. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, September 8th, 2010 at 2:00pm from Hant's Harbour United Church with internment to follow in Hant's Harbour United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hant's Harbour United Cemetery Fund.
