Obituary

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on November 19, 2025, Stan Pitcher of Winterton, age 66 years.

Stan had this hilarious little laugh or giggle that could fill a room and pull everyone into the moment with him. He loved his daughter Kristy, his grandkids, and his wife, Debbie, more than anything. Animals always seemed to find comfort around him because of his big, gentle heart. If you were lucky enough to be in Stan's circle, you felt it. He was a man's man who still appreciated his quiet time, listening to his favourite music, yet, he often enjoyed being in the presence of his buddies, telling jokes and having a chat. Stan's life was defined by how deeply he loved his family and how naturally he cared for every creature that crossed his path; which were things that mattered the most to him. Stan will be missed deeply, and thought about endlessly by his family and friends.
