Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on January 24, 2025, Melvin Hindy of Hant's Harbour, age 85 years.

Predeceased by wife: Mavis, parents: Jacob and Violet Hindy; brothers: Wycliffe (Marion) and Wallace.

Leaving to mourn, daughter: Beverly Button; sons: Kevin (Charlene), Brian (Glenda), Grant (Cherie) and Perry; grandchildren: Travis (Stacey), Andrew (Jillian), Ruby (Chad), Ryan (Samantha), Rachel (Josh), Jacob, Keiryn, and Isabella; great-grandchildren: Xander, Teaghan, Brady, Bentley, and Hudson; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Green's Funeral Home, Main Road, Winterton on Tuesday, January 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Committal service will take place on Friday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church Cemetery, Hant's Habour.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
