Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Mavis M. Hindy of Hant's Harbour, age 84 years.

Predeceased by parents: Frederick and Minnie Tuck.

Leaving to mourn, her husband of 61 years, Melvin; daughter: Beverly Button; sons: Kevin (Charlene), Brian (Glenda), Grant (Cherie), and Perry; grandchildren: Travis (Stacey), Andrew (Jillian), Ruby (Chad), Ryan (Samantha), Rachel (Josh), Jacob, Keiryn, and Isabella; great-grandchildren: Xander, Teaghan, Brady, Bentley, and Hudson; sister: Ella Faulkner; brothers: Edward, Melvin (Doris), and Harvey (Delores); also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at The Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton on Friday, November 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton. Interment in the United Cemetery, Hant's Harbour.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
