It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Lorne Leawood of New Chelsea, NL on June 3, 2026 at Carbonear General Hospital, age 87.

Survived by his loving wife: Ruby (Butler-Cave); daughters: Lorelei (Paul),Louise (Corey), Dana (Cory), Paula (Fred), Lisa (Mike), Christine (Jim); grandchildren: Angela, Darren, Kayla, Megan, Sheldon, AJ, Kaitlyn, Victoria,  Lauren, Olivia, Charlotte; and his special great grandchildren; also
left to mourn; brother: Whitfield (Donna), Stephen (Noelle), Michael (Sonia) and many extended family and friends.

Predeceased by wife: Annie(2006); parents: Lewis and Lily Maude Leawood; sister: Marina Squires and grandson Brandon Moores.

Visitation at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton on Saturday, June 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Sunday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Salvation Army Lower Trinity Corp, Winterton

Interment at New Chelsea Salvation Army Cemetary

In lieu of flowers, donations may made to the Salvation Army New Chelsea cemetery or a charity of one's choice.
