Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Laura Ellis of Hant's Harbour aged 76 years. Predeceased by Husband Robert, 2006. Leaving to mourn children; Joan (Eugene Pryor), Linda (George Piercey), Robert Jr. (Sheila), Jeanette (John Critch), and Craig (Kim), twelve grandchildren; Christopher, Gavin, Heidi, April, Amy, Erica, Kody, Katie, Sarah, Casey, Chelsea, and Robbie, one great-grandson; Connor, sisters; Louise Tuck, Eleanor (Melvin Green), Annie (Hubert Ash), and Lillian (Gerald Pynn), brothers and sisters in law; Marjorie Cullen, Harold Ellis (Verena), John Ellis (Jean), Elizabeth Mercer, Edwin Ellis (Selena), and Doris Harris. Also a large circle of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours; Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm, Monday 1:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm and Tuesday from 10:00-12:00noon. Funeral service to take place at the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Hant's Harbour on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 2:00pm with internment to follow in the Calvary Pentecostal cemetery in Hant's Harbour. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, The Calvary Pentecostal Church cemetery fund, or to a charity of ones choice.
