Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home on April 24, 2011 in the presence of her family. Laura (Mansfield) Ash, of Hant's Harbour, aged 92 years. Predeceased by first Husband, George Mansfield (1949) and Bertram Ash (May 24, 2009). Leaving to mourn daughters; Annie Mansfield, Victoria, Muriel Ash (Wilfred), Hant's Harbour, Lillian (Hayward) Russell, Victoria, Sons; Gideon (Victoria), Hant's Harbour and Ronald (Janette) Conception Bay South, Step son Newton (Joan), Hant's Harbour, Step daughters; Peggy (Ted) Belbin, Newmarket,Patsy(Rick), Port Credit;Rona, Mount Pearl, Sister Mabel (Ralph) Critch, Hant's Harbour. A number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and also a number of step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Monday 7:00-9:00p.m., Tuesday 2:00-4:00p.m. and 7:00-9:00p.m. and Wednesday 10:00a.m.-12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place at 2:00p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton. Internment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant's Harbour. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
