(April 29, 1950-October 30, 2019)
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy hospital on Wednesday October 30, 2019 at 69 years old.
Leaving to mourn his loss and to celebrate his strength and courage are his wife Alice, daughter Tina (Dean), sons Chris (Sonia), Brad (Morgan), grandchildren Daniel, Jacob and Brooklyn, sisters Francis, Patricia (Frank) and Jeannie (Randy) and sister-in-law Elizabeth. John was predeceased by his parents William and Jean and his brother Bill.
Visitation will be at Green's Funeral Home in Winterton on Wednesday November 6 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Thursday November 7 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. The service will be held at 2 pm on Friday November 8 at Green's Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery in Winterton.
John chose to make Winterton his home and loved his community and the people in it. Therefore, it's no surprise that it was his wish to have Winterton as his final resting place.
In lieu for flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of ones choice.
