Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on Monday, March 10, 2025, Joan Peddle of Heart's Content, age 87 years.

Predeceased by husband: Lawrence; parents: George and Tina Cumby; brother: Roy (Agnes) Cumby.

Leaving to mourn,  daughters: Laurie (Lindo) Pitcher and Lisa (Ken) Heffern; son Chris; grandchildren: Ryan (Ashley), Tyler (Nicole), Shelly (Dylan), Dylan (Justin), Zoe (Paul), Avery, and Harlee; great-grandchildren; Nathan, Annalynne, Benjamin, Lydia, Gabriel, Stephanie, Grayson, and Karys; brothers: William (Annie) and Frank (Alice); sisters: Rita (Dick) King and Ruth (Art-deceased) Rockwood; special friends: Sybil Underhay, Jean George, and Donna Evely ; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Heart's Content on Thursday, March 13 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Heart's Content. Interment in St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Heart's Content.
