It is with heavy hearts that we the family of Mr. Herbert Joseph Rice announce his sudden passing on April 28th 2020 at Carbonear General Hospital age 60 years, we are devastated and heartbroken.
Herb was a beloved partner to Christine for 20 years, step-father, brother, grandfather and uncle.​
Predeceased  by parents Elizabeth and Walter Rice,brother in law John Anderson and brother in law Colin Victor Piercey,
leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving partner Christine, his sister Sharon Anderson (Willis) niece Lisa (Jeff), step children Adam, Cory(Melissa) and Brian (Melissa) , and 2 special granddaughters Gracie and Abigail and 2 grandchildren Leslie and Evan,also leaving to mourn, brothers in law  Derrick Barnes, Gary Barnes (Heather), sisters in law Carol Woodrow (Bernard), Sharon Piercey (Lawrence) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends especially his buddies Don Pope ,Rick  (Ashley) Parsons , Eugene (Rose) Hatch and Bernie Woodrow (Deanne)​
