Grace was a very dedicated and community minded person in her home town of Winterton for most of her life. She juggled being a mother of three while she worked hard, teaching and giving back to her community. Apart from being a teacher until her retirement, she was an active member of St. Luke's Anglican Church Choir and the Community Choir, in which she took enormous pride. Being involved with the Recreation Committee gave her great satisfaction as someone who had the opportunity to coordinate and plan various events and projects. Over the years, attending Fifty Plus meetings were one of the highlights of her week. Her retirement years were fulfilled by countless hours in her garden, which brought her great rewards.
The family would like to thank the management and staff of Winterhome Manor for their amazing care and support over the years. Also, to the staff of 4 North B of the Pte Josiah Squibb Pavilion, long term care facility in Carbonear. Your dedication, respect and professionalism was beyond measure as you guided us and cared so tenderly for our mom in her precious last days - a most heartfelt Thank You.
