Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Fred Piercey of Winterton, age 79 years.

Predeceased by parents: Lionel and Phyllis; brother: Edgar; niece: Shelia Norris.

Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 54 years, Gertrude; brothers-in-law: Ray (Maureen), Reg (Marion) and families; sister-in-law; Florence Piercey; nephew: Gerald and family; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Thank you to special cousin Audrey and her family for all their love and support during this very difficult time.

Visitation at Green's Funeral Home, Main Road, Winterton on Tuesday, May 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Green's Funeral Home, Main Road, Winterton.

Interment in St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Winterton.
