It is with great sadness that the family of Emile Joseph Hatch of Red Head Cove, announce his passing. Emile passed away surrounded by his wife and children on October 18, 2020, after a short battle with cancer.
What he considered his biggest accomplishment was being a husband, father and grandfather. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Emile managed his illness with strength and grace. He wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible and enjoy time at his cabin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Hatch and 3 adoring children, Steven, Amanda and Michael (Amanda). He was a beloved Poppy to 2 grandchildren who he considered the light of his life, Alexa and Carter.
He leaves to mourn his only sibling, Barry Hatch (Beverly). Emile and Barry had a close and special relationship. As well as many other relatives and friends in both Newfoundland and Nunavut. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Margaret Hatch.
The family would like to give special acknowledgement to Arthur and Darren Layman.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to COVID 19 restriction, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
