Green , Elizabeth (Lizzie) – wife of Newman, Born in Winterton, Trinity Bay, TB on July 31, 1923, she passed away at the Health Sciences Centre Hospital on August 02,2010. She is predeceased by her husband Newman, infant daughter Gail, brothers Henry, Jacob, Joseph, Malcolm and William (Bill), and sister Louise(Louie). She will be sadly missed and ever remembered by her daughters Helen (Max) Pitcher, Winterton, Betty (Walter) Tucker, Halifax, Karen Green, Ontario, her Grand children Ron ( Mary) Pitcher, Kathryn (Dennis) Hayward, Karen (Don) Cameron, Kristina(Thomas) Steinbring, Bonnie (Terry) Courish, Scott Tucker and great grandchildren Brent and Jacob Pitcher, Stephanie and Blair Hayward, Morgan, Teagan and Gillian Cameron, Adam ( Channing), Eric and Karleen Steinbring, Amber Connolly, Joshua Courish, a very special great great-granddaughter Mya Steinbring, brother-in-law Jim (Beatrice) Green, and sisters-in-law Nellie Coulson and Irene Green of Ontario, Mildred Piercey of Kelligrews and Shirley Green of Halifax, a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She will be fondly remembered as a life long member of the Winterton LOBA, a member of the Winterton UCW and the Brownsdale Crystal Chapter.
The family would like to thank the caring and diligent staff of the Health Sciences ER, 4 South A and CCUfor their excellent care during her time there.
