Effie Alice Bridger (nee Janes) passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Home in St. John's on November 27, 2020 in her 96th year. She was predeceased by her parents, Hiram and Jane; siblings Edith, Ethel, Isabel, Eric, Harold, Chesley and Olive; and very special grand-daughter, Rhiannon Vokey. Leaving to mourn children, Cavell (Wilmore) Newman, Clarence Bridger, Barry (Ann) Bridger, Brenda (Dwana) Bridger, Diane Bridger, Ken (Louise) Bridger and Paul Bridger. Also leaving to mourn a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  Family viewing will take place at Green's Funeral Home at Winterton, Nl from 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Monday November 30, 2020. Funeral to follow from Green's at 2:30 P.M. Interment at Salvation Army Cemetery at Hants Harbour. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care provided by the staff at St. Lukes.
