Edward 'Gerald' Ash, age 78 years, passed away suddenly at his home in Hant's Harbour, with his wife at his side on May 12, 2026.

Predeceased by parents: Victor and Myrtle Ash; brother: Arthur; sister: Margaret Rose Ash; sister-in-law: Catherine; father and mother-in-law: Chesley and Maude Short; sister and brother-in-law: Peggy and Wilson Adams; brother-in-law: Robert Belbin.

Leaving to mourn, loving and devoted wife of 52 years: Charlotte; son: Jerry (Jackie); daughter: Darlene (Scott); son: Danny; grandchildren: Brittany (Thomas), Matthew, Gregory, and Erika; great-grandchildren: Jacob and Brooklyn; brothers: Bruce (Goldie) and Earl (Pauline); brothers-in-law: Guy (Doreen), and Donnie; sisters-in-law: Valma (Harvey), Patsy, Dorothy (Wallace), and Marjorie; stepmother-in-law: Doris; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Hant's Harbour on Saturday, May 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Sunday, May 17 at 1:00 p.m. from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Hant's Harbour.

Interment at Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery, Hant's Harbour.
