Passed away at the Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion in Carbonear on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 Donald Ash age 68 years of Hants Harbour, Trinity Bay.

Predeceased by his mother Muriel Ash he leaves to mourn, his father Wilfred Ash Sr., son Donny (Stephanie), grandchildren Isabelle and Chloe, daughter Kirsten (Christopher), Stepchildren, Doris (Terry), Lewis (Sandra).  Brothers, Wilfred Jr. (Susan), Terry (Brenda), Barry (Michelle) and Alan (Cheryl).  Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Prior to the stroke he suffered in 2018, he was a self-employed artisan.  He was a very talented craftsman in knife making, custom leather work and upholstery work.  He took pride in his workmanship and the quality of his products were second to none.  In his leisure time Donald loved to sing and play guitar.  His passion for music was seconded only by his love for fly fishing and tying his own patterns.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nursing staff at the Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion for their kindness and compassion while Donald was a resident there.

Visitation will take place at Greens Funeral Home in Winterton, on .Friday June 9, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm

Funeral Service will be held at Green's Funeral Home  on Saturday June 10, 2023  at 11:00 am Internment to take place at Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery in Hant's Harbour following Funeral service
