Chesley George Burrage - Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, October 30, 2026, Chesley George Burrage of New Perlican, age 79 years.

Predeceased by son: Mark; parents: Albert and Edith Burrage; sister: Stella; brother: Jimmy; brothers-in-law: Percy, Roy and Carmen; good friend: Linda Moyles.

Leaving to mourn, sons: Curtis (Nicole) Burrage, Lloydminister, AB and Anthony Burrage, New Perlican; precious granddaughter: Sara May Burrage, Lloydminister, AB; sisters: Irene Dwyer, Rosalind Critch, and Rhoda Bailey; also numerous other family and friends.

George always loved the outdoors. He would jump on the trike and be off for fishing, hunting, chopping wood or berry picking. But, his love for his family came first and foremost though. George read his bible each night and kept a journal for years. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In keeping with Chesley's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life to take place at a later date.
