Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Interfaith Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday March 16, 2013, Augusta Legge of New Perlican at age 80 years. Member of St. Augustines A.C.W. and Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary. Predeceased by infant son Heber, husband Raymond and brother Charles Seward. Leaving to muorn with fond and loving memories one son Jim (Verna),three daughters Evelyn, Vera (Allan MacLaughlin) and Joanne (Lance Callahan) Three grandchildren Tim (Rachel), Chris (Sherry) and Theo (Jordan) Four great grandchildren Noah, Hannah, Ethan and Duncan. Two sisters Jean Piercey (Sydney deceased), Lucy Pynn (Hilary deceased) and sister-in-law Marion Seward. Also, a large circle of nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Monday 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from St. Augustines Anglican Church, New Perlican.
