Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 7, 2024, Audrey M. Janes of Hant's Harbour, age 91 years.

Predeceased by husband: Edwin; parents: Herbert and Ethel (Tuck) Ellis; brother: Harold (Shirley); infant sister: Barbara; sisters: Dorothy, Millie (Ed) Mitchell. Abbie (Wilson) Whiffen, and Marina; special niece: Norma Soper.

Leaving to mourn, son: Blair (Heather); granddaughter: Adrienne; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Thank you to all of the staff at Lane's Retirement Living for their loving care over the last 7 years. Also, to the Dr. s and staff of Carbonear General Hospital 7th floor for their care and compassion. Special thanks to her homecare workers, Shirley Penny and Cheryl Ash; her nieces Arlene Crane and Gail Bishop for their care, support, phone calls, and visits which always brightened her day.

Visitation at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton on Wednesday, December 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.

Family funeral service to take place on Thursday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Green's Funeral Home, Winterton.

Cremation to follow. Interment to be held at a later date.
