Left with saddened hearts are her greatest pride and joy, her grandchildren, Christopher Hopkins (Abigail), Logan Hopkins, and McKenna Piercey. She loved them beyond measure and treasured every moment spent with them.

Becoming a great-grandmother brought her immense happiness. Her great-granddaughter, Sailor Hopkins, will always be reminded of the special place she was held in her great-grandmothers heart.

Along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and warmth.

Anita will always be remembered for her gentle heart, her strength and the deep love she had for her family. Nothing brought her more joy then spending time with them.

One of her biggest passions was knitting, something she did with love and patience. Every stitch sewn carried a piece of her heart, often creating gifts that warmed not only the body but the souls of those she loved.

Though our hearts are broken we take comfort in the love she gave us and the memories she leaves behind. Her unwavering love with live on in the hearts of her family forever.

A mothers love is a tread that never breaks. Though our hearts are heavy and our tears shall fall, we know she is now knitting among the angels, pain free, watching over the family she loved dearly.

If love alone could of kept her here, she would have lived forever.

Until we meet again we will carry you in our hearts forever.
